Our philosophy

Whilst businesses and individuals may take a proactive approach to risk management in an attempt to avoid a loss, claims do occur and must be dealt with fairly and swiftly to ensure that any disruption to our policyholders’ businesses and lives is kept to a minimum.

The quality of our claims service is fundamental to our brand.  We target prompt response times on all types of claims, big or small.  We recognise that we need to have a flexible approach in order to manage each claim on its merits.  We aim to be as accessible as we can to our clients and to provide a high standard of service across the whole claims team.

Our team

Claims are managed in-house by a dedicated team of experienced claims managers, handlers, loss adjusters and technical staff based in London. Where required, we may involve additional third parties on our behalf or on behalf of our policyholders to ensure that claims are managed and mitigated in the most effective way.

How to make a claim

The majority of our business is written through insurance brokers. In the event of a claim, unless your policy states otherwise, you should generally first contact the broker who originally arranged your policy.
