Markel International, Singapore, November 13, 2014 --- Markel International, the specialist insurer, has today appointed Linda Naili, to its expanding trade credit team in Singapore. Based in Singapore, Ms Naili will be responsible for developing business in the region and will work together with Abhishek Chhajer, senior underwriter and head of trade credit in Asia Pacific, to grow Markel’s Asia Pacific trade credit book.
The Markel trade credit desk in Singapore specialises in writing business from around the region and offers comprehensive non-payment excess of loss multi-buyer and ground-up specific buyer policies with emphasis on delivering specialist solutions including trade finance products and sovereign default/contract frustration cover. Ms Naili will report directly to Abhishek and her focus will be to build relationships with financial institutions and brokers around the region.

Prior to joining Markel, she worked at GE Capital in Paris as a senior credit risk analyst and she also holds a Master in Finance from the ISC Paris Business School.
